David Mantey

David Mantey is the editorial director of digital media at IEN and a contributing editor for Thomas. He is the host of Engineering By Design, a weekly engineering show that covers groundbreaking new technology.

Essentially, it shows all of the tech that futurists will say is five-to-ten years away — even though it’s happening right now. He also co-hosts IEN Now (for IEN.com), and the Thomas Industry Update (for Thomas), daily web series dedicated to all things industrial, manufacturing, and engineering, or at least have some sort of defensible relation to the aforementioned. He went to a school; he has a degree; it’s legit. He also writes, but not as often.
