Dickinson Bransford

Dickinson Bransford focuses on advanced manufacturing companies as Managing Director with the investment bank Mid-Market Securities, LLC.  He is based in San Francisco.  

He provides strategic and financial solutions to support companies’ growth goals, address challenges and/or enable the shareholders’ goals of maximizing the company’s value and getting liquidity – either now or in the future. 

Mostly, that means capital, business sales, mergers & acquisitions, buyouts (management, next generation, private equity) and consulting to build future value.

His advisory work and writing bring the perspective of senior-level corporate operating experience and management consulting. He has been a founder, co-owner, Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Product Manager. He’s helped turn around an unprofitable division and worked on a team which integrated three factories, a family brand, and multiple sub-brands into an acquirer’s operation. 

He holds the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) credential bestowed by the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AMAA).

Dickinson serves on the Board of Directors of a U.S. Department of Energy-developed technology licensee, a company whose purpose is to further refine and apply that technology in international markets.

He earned a B.S. from the University of Texas, Austin, and an M.B.A. in International Business from California State University, College of Business and Economics (Honors), taught in the U.S., Thailand, Vietnam & Austria.
