Dr. Michael J. Urick
Dr. Michael J. Urick is the Graduate Director – Master of Science in Management: Operational Excellence and an Associate Professor of Management and Operational Excellence. He has published dozens of articles and book chapters related to intergenerational phenomena in the workplace. He has presented on this topic extensively throughout the US, as well as in Australia, China, and Canada. Urick is an active consultant on related issues for businesses and non-profit organizations. At Saint Vincent, his teaching emphases include organizational behavior, human resources, culture, leadership, diversity, conflict, supply chain, operations and research methods. Professionally, Urick serves on the board of the Institute for Supply Management Pittsburgh Affiliate and belongs to the Society for Human Resource Management. For fun, Urick enjoys music and, since 1998, has led and performed with Neon Swing X-perience, a jazz band that has released eight albums and toured portions of the US.
